Unfortunately, with age, unwanted lines and wrinkles appear around the face.
Firstly, expression lines can form when smiling or frowning, particularly around the eyes and across the forehead, due to the action of facial muscles. This muscle activity and the resulting lines may be calmed down with the use of muscle relaxing injections such as Botox.
In addition, there is also a natural reduction of volume in areas of the face over time. Tissue, or dermal, fillers can be used to replace this volume and reduce any deepening facial lines. Lips can become full and shapely. Wrinkles around the mouth can be lifted and smoothed out.
These treatments may be undertaken in the consulting room, with no down time.
