Mr Jonathan Hayter graduated from University of Bristol Dental School in 1980 and St Georges Hospital Medical School in 1988. Surgical training was in London, Portsmouth and Liverpool gaining postgraduate diplomas in Dental Surgery (FDSRCS) in 1986 and Maxillofacial Surgery (FRCS) in 1992.
He was appointed Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon at the University Hospitals of Leicester in 1996 where he is Head of Service and Lead Clinician for Head and Neck Cancer Surgery.
His area of special interest is aesthetic facial plastic surgery and he has undergone specialist training in the UK, Europe and America. He is a member of the Association of Facial Plastic Surgeons, the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons and the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
